He completed his law studies at the University of Basel, is admitted to the bar of Kanton Basel-Landschaft and is licensed to practice law throughout Switzerland. His professional career includes positions at the criminal, civil and appellate courts as well as in several law firms and a contact point for asylum seekers. Burak Yildirim has been working as an independent attorney since 2024.

Burak Yildirim speaks fluent German (mother tongue), English and Turkish. He is also conversationally fluent in French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
